In magical realism, the boundaries between the visible and the invisible, between the tangible and the unspeakable, begin to blur. In these drawings, thoughts and emotions find expression beyond words—moments that can only be captured visually in their depth and complexity. The depicted scenes are layered, symbolic, and often surrounded by a mysterious aura. Figures like those in this work, who refuse to see, hear, or speak, not only evoke the well-known proverb but also open a space for interpretation. They challenge us to reflect on silence, repression, and observation. What truths do we choose not to see? What sounds do we avoid hearing? What words remain unspoken?Magical realism invites us to engage in the inner dialogue we so often evade. It is a dance between reality and fantasy, a mirror of our inner world that confronts us with our hidden fears, desires, and secrets. The familiar, almost tangible figures contrast with the dreamlike, somber atmosphere, which, like a mist, shrouds the essence of what is being conveyed. The images often speak of what cannot be said—of the depth of our emotions, the complexity of our decisions, and the beauty of the unspeakable. They create a space for reflection, inviting us to see the invisible, hear the unheard, and feel the unutterable.
